2. Collection of personal data when visiting our website
a) Basically, you can visit our website without informing us of who you are. As customary with practically all websites, the server hosted on (in the following called “webserver”) our website is on automatically collects information about you when you visit us on the internet. These data are technically necessary for us and ensure the stability and safety of the website.
The webserver automatically recognizes certain personal data such as your IP address, the date and time you visit our site, the website you visited previously, the browser you are using (e. g. Internet Explorer, Firefox, Safari), the operating system you are using (e. g. Windows, Linux, MAC OS) as well as the domain name and the address of your internet provider (e. g. 1&1, Telekom, Unitymedia). If our website uses cookies (as explained in the following), the webserver also saves this information (legal basis is art. 6 paragraph 1 p. 1f GDPR).
We regularly evaluate these server protocols anonymously for statistical purposes (Click Stream analyses) so as to be able to detect how our websites are being used. Based on these findings, we then optimize our internet presence. In addition, we can use this information in the case of system abuse in cooperation with your internet provider and/or authorities on site to detect the causer of this abuse.
b) In addition to the above-mentioned data, our cookies are saved on your computer when you use our website. Cookies are small text files that are saved on your hard disk assigned to the browser you use and by means of which the subject that places the cookie (in this case, us) gains certain information. Cookies cannot execute programs or transfer viruses to your computer. They help to make the internet offer overall more user-friendly and more efficient.
aa) This website uses the following types of cookies, whose extent and function are explained in the following:
– Transient cookies (see bb).

bb) Transient cookies are automatically deleted when you close the browser. Among these are especially the session cookies. They save a so-called session-ID, which allows certain inquiries of your browser to be assigned to the joint session. Thus, your computer can be recognized when you return to our website. The session cookies are deleted when you log out or close the browser.
cc) Persistent cookies are deleted in an automated way after a programmed duration which can differ from one cookie to another. You are able to delete the cookies in the safety settings of your browser at any time.
dd) You can configurate your browser setting according to your wishes and reject the acceptance for example of third-party cookies or all cookies. We wish to point out to you that you may not be able to use all the functions of this website.
ee) We use cookies to be able to identify you for further visits in case you have an account with us. Otherwise you would have to log in every time you visit our website.
ff) The flash cookies used are not recorded by your browser but by your Flash Plug-in. Furthermore, we use HTML5 storage objects, which are deposited on your terminal. These objects save the necessary data regardless of the browser you use and have no automatic expiry date. If you do not wish processing of the Flash-Cookies, you have to install a corresponding add-on, e. g. “Better Privacy“ for Mozilla Firefox (https://addons.mozilla.org/de/firefox/addon/betterprivacy/) or the Adobe-Flash-Killer-Cookie for Google Chrome. You can prevent the use of HTML5 storage objects by setting your browser to the private mode. In addition, we recommend deleting your cookies and the browser course manually at regular intervals.
c) Cookies from third parties on our websites
We allow third parties to place cookies on your computer via these websites.
(1) This website uses Google Analytics, a web analysis service of Google Inc. (“Google“). Google Analytics uses so-called “cookies“, text files that are saved on your computer and allow the analysis of the use of the website by you. The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website is generally transferred to a Google server in the USA and saved there. In the case of an activation of the IP anonymization on this website, your IP address will be previously shortened by Google within the member states of the European Union or in other contracting states of the treaty on the European Economic Area. It is only in exceptional cases that the full IP address is transferred to a Google server in the USA and shortened there. It is on behalf of the operator of this website that Google will use this information to evaluate your use of this website, compile reports on the website activities and provide further services connected with the use of the website and the internet use to the website operator.
(2) The IP address transferred from your browser as part of Google Analytics will not be joined with other Google data.
(3) You can prevent the saving of cookies by means of a certain setting in your browser software; we do, however, wish to point out that, in this case, you may not be able to use all the functions of this website to a full extent. d) Use of social media plug-ins
(1) Currently, we are using the following social media plug-ins [Facebook, Instagram, Xing, Kununu, Google+]. At this, we are using the so-called two-click solution. That means that when you visit our website, no personal data are generally transmitted to the provider of the plug-ins. You can recognize the provider of the plug-ins by means of the mark on the box above its first letter or via the logo. We offer you the possibility to communicate directly with the provider of the plug-ins via the button. It is only if you click on the marked field and, thus, activate it that the plug-in provider will obtain the information that you have accessed the respective website of our online offer. In addition, the data mentioned in point 2. of this declaration are transmitted. In the cases of Facebook and Xing, in Germany, the IP address is immediately anonymized after the collection according to the statements of the corresponding providers. Thus, by activating the plug-in, your personal data are transmitted to the respective plug-in provider and saved there (in the case of US-American providers in the USA). Since the plug-in provider carries out the collection of data especially via cookies, we recommend to delete all cookies via the safety settings of your browser before clicking on the greyed-out box.
(2) Neither do we have influence on the collected data or data processing procedures nor are we aware of the full extent of the data collection, the purpose of the processing or the period of data retention. Moreover, we have no information concerning the deletion of the collected data by the plug-in provider.
(3) The plug-in provider saves the data collected about you as user profiles and uses them for purposes of marketing, market research and/or the needs-based design of his website. Such an evaluation is especially carried out (even for users who are not logged in) for the presentation of needs-based marketing and to inform other users of the social network about your activities on our website. You have the right to object against the compilation of these user profiles whereby you must turn to the respective plug-in providers to exercise that right. Via the plug-ins, we are offering you the possibility to interact with the social networks and other users so that we can improve our range of products and make it more interesting for you as a user. The legal basis for the use of plug-ins is art. 6 paragraph 1 p. 1 lit. f GDPR.
(4) The transmission of data is carried out independently of the fact whether you have an account with the plug-in provider and are logged in. If you are logged in with the plug-in provider, your data collected with us will be directly assigned to your account with the plug-in provider. If you klick the activated button and, for example, link the site, the plug-in provider will also save this information in your user account and communicate it to your contacts publicly. We recommend you log out of your social network after use regularly, especially, however, before activating the button so as to avoid an assignment to your profile with the plug-in provider.
(5) You can obtain further information concerning the purpose and extent of the collection of data and their processing by the plug-in provider in the provider’s privacy statement. There, you will also obtain further information concerning your rights and settings options concerning this to protect your privacy.
